| Western riding is a wonderful way to ride a well trained, relaxed horse. Jeanne has worked with many different breeds in the western arena. Breeds such as Arabian, Half-Arabian, American Quarter Horses, Paints, Appaloosa, Morgan, and American Saddlebred. All of these breeds have tremendous western capabilities with the proper training. We believe in starting each horse with round pen training, then moving towards the division specialization that horse shows the most talent it: western pleasure, trail, equitation mount, or even dressage. The essence of a great western horse is the magical appearance of a fully trained horse carrying a rider that effortlessly demonstrates all the required gaits of the class. They should have slow movement, low head carriage, and loose reins with total collection.
